Crossing times at the US-Mexico border have increased to up to 10 hours, follwing a US decision to redeploy border officials to process mirgants. Meixoc News Daily reports that some 350 semi-trailers, packed with products manufactured at local factories, have been waiting to cross the border since before 1am. While the Custom and Border Protection (CBP) agency denies the reports, saying the longest wait at the three ports of entry was two hours, at the Zaragoza International Bridge, media reports suggest otherwise, and claim only Baja California ports of entry are operating normally. Federal Agency Capufe reported waits of between two and seven hours for motorists attempting to enter th US from Reynosa, Nuevo Laredo and Matamoros in Tamaulipas and Piedras Negras and Ciudad Acuña in Coahuila.
