Less-than-container load (LCL) specialist Vanguard Logistics has promoted Vincent Argenzio (above) to the role of global chief commercial officer.
With over 25 years of executive experience within the global shipping industry, Mr Argenzio returned to Vanguard Logistics last year as commercial director of its North America division.
His logistics career began at Vanguard in 2000, when he joined its Los Angeles office. In 2014 he moved to ECU Worldwide, where he worked for 11 years, ending as EVP ECU Worldwide USA.
Last May, he returned to Vanguard, and in his new role will focus on “driving greater alignment across the company’s global commercial activities and enhancing coordination across regions to boost operational efficiency and customer service”.
Vanguard CEO Christopher Smith added: “I’m very pleased Vincent is stepping into this role to advance our commercial efforts and growth initiatives.
“This appointment highlights his leadership and our commitment to strengthening our global commercial operations.”
