London, 3 November , 2016 – UPS (NYSE:UPS) announced today a series of enhancements to its ground network which improves trade opportunities for customers from six countries in the European Union (EU) to Switzerland. Customers in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland and Sweden can now benefit from a faster, cost-effective UPS Standard® service improvement of up to two days when shipping to 60% of the population of Switzerland, including the areas around Basel and Zürich.
