It’s done. The TPP has been signed, despite opposition. Twelve countries have signed up to one of the biggest-ever trade deals – but there is no doubt that squabbling will continue as they try to iron out the final text. There is now a two-year ratification process – after the five years of negotiations they have already undergone.
