Tammy Orr named new CSafe global sales director as it expands US presence

In an effort to expand its presence in the US north-east, air freight container maker and biopharmaceutical logistics supplier CSafe has expanded its Newark, New Jersey service centre.

As part of the development it has also announced that Tammy Orr (pictured) has been appointed its new global director of sales.

Ms Orr joins the company after 25 years at FedEx Custom Critical, where she held various positions across its biopharmaceutical business and key account sales management.

“My career to date has been positive and personally rewarding. I am now excited to be a part of this ever growing and successful company at such a dynamic time in pharmaceutical cool chain evolution when we can help optimize effective temperature controlled supply chain globally,” she said.

CSafe vice president Nadine Siqueland added: “We are pleased to have Tammy join our sales team. Her sound biopharmaceutical cool chain expertise is second to none with highly refined consultative skills which will enable CSafe to continue to deliver optimised customer partnership.

“This is the latest in series of strategic investments to maximise our capability to perform as the only global cool chain manufacturer that can provide both active and passive options to the life-sciences,” she said.

Ms Orr has been won the President’s Club Award four times as well as a finalist for the 2015 North American Salesperson of the Year award.
