There’s been a big shake-up at Menzies Aviation. Managing director Craig Smyth suddenly resigned just as the business was searching for a chief executive. This article indicates that Mr Smyth was interested in the CEO position, but that the board wanted an external candidate. He is not thought to have a new job to go to. Meanwhile Menzies Aviation is said to be looking at acquisition targets.
