DHL Supply Chain has appointed Marion Taylor-Ringsell as vice president asset management centre of excellence DSC UKI.
Ms Taylor-Ringsell has 26 years’ experience in the logistics industry, both in-house and in 3PLs, covering domestic and international operations across a varied product range, including small parcel, retail, automotive and industrial.
Her most recent role was at Gap, where she spent some nine years, latterly as director of European transport. She has also held roles at Amazon and Christian Salvesen, among others.
Ms Taylor-Ringsell will manage DHL Supply Chain’s Asset Management Centre of Excellence (AMCOE) with responsibility for vehicle procurement, fuel purchasing, compliance, engineering and facilities maintenance.
“I’m thrilled to be taking on this role at a critical time for the logistics sector, as we emerge from a period of unprecedented instability,” she said. “The DHL Supply Chain team is experiencing strong growth, and I’m really looking forward to joining a best-in-class team.”
