There is very little detail as yet, but it appears that KLM is to take over Jet Airways’ Dutch business – a move which could include cargo operations. One of Jet’s 777s was impounded at Schiphol last year by handler WFS.

The pair have entered a conditional sale and purchase agreement, notes FlightGlobal. Jet is undergoing a separate bankruptcy in the Netherlands, as Dutch creditors look to recoup debts. The article notes that KLM would not become a shareholder, just acquire the Dutch operations.
