Fiata, together with insurer TT Club, has announced the winners of the regional Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award (Yiffya) 2019.
Sovfracht’s Evgenniya Khokhlova took home the award for Europe, with Panalpina’s Rachael van Harmelen winning for the Americas. Philip Burgess of Burnard International won for Asia Pacific, leaving former PIL ? now Bollore recruit ? Enos Chapra to walk away with the award for Africa and the Middle East.
President of Fiata, Babar Badat, praised the winners, and said he hoped to see their success encourage more youngsters to join the profession.
