On Monday afternoon, some 230 software developers, QA testers, project managers, and business analysts across five Expeditors offices in Washington State were called into meetings and told their positions were being eliminated.

The layoffs hit Expeditors’ Global Technology Department across offices in downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Federal Way, and Airway Heights, near Spokane.
