Kuehne + Nagel has appointed Eduardo Razuck and Søren Schmidt (pictured above) to its board, assuming responsibility for the Contract Logistics and Road Logistics units, respectively.
With K+N veteran Hansjörg Rodi set to retire next summer, Mr Schmidt’s appointment was seen as something of a coup, following his 30-year career at DSV, ten as CEO of its road logistics division.
K+N chair Joerg Wolle said: “With the appointment of Søren Schmidt, Kuehne + Nagel welcomes an outstanding figure in the logistics industry.”
After more than two decades at the firm, Mr Razuck (below) steps into the role of Gianfranco Sgro, who is leaving the industry, after overseeing contract logistics in the Americas over the past three years.

“Both Søren and Eduardo bring extensive expertise and many years of successful experience to our management board,” added Mr Wolle.
“We are confident that they will continue to drive the company’s positive development.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Hansjörg Rodi and Gianfranco Sgro for their many years of dedicated and successful service.”
