Another great idea from Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Russia’s pint-sized dictator, troubled by the soaring growth of the e-commerce sector, and in particular the number of Russians buying foreign goods on sites such as eBay and Amazon, has ordered officials to put the sector “into order”. Their response has been to introduce stricter customs procedures and demand far more documents – so much so that all the major express operators are set to suspend deliveries to Russian individuals from next week.
