BidAir Cargo, which provides daytime cargo operations for passenger airlines in Africa, has been given approval to buy Imperial Air Cargo, an overnight network airline in South Africa. Using three 737-200Fs, it also has road feeder services connecting other cities to the country’s airports. The companies already work in partnership but, according to BidAir’s MD, couriers were looking for a one-stop shop.
