Container terminal industry veteran Iain Rawlinson (pictured above) has been appointed chief commercial officer at APM Terminals Poti.
The move brought him back to the Maersk group after more than six years with UAE-headquartered Gulftainer, where he was global commercial director.
That followed three years as liner chief commercial manager at APMT’s Middle East transhipment hub at Salalah, after a five-year stint as chief commercial officer at the company’s Bahrain facility.
Mr Rawlinson worked as a barrister in England and Wales before commencing a career in transport and logistics.
