So, when he told me on Saturday he had heard that contract logistics (CL) staff were fired in Kuehne + Nagel’s (K+N) headquarters in Schindellegi, I had to take action.
If true, it could spell big trouble for the CL industry, given K+N’s size, about a month after DP DHL Supply Chain, the world’s CL leader, announced it had withdrawn from China.
