Massachusetts-based intermodal logistics operator RoadOne has appointed Steve Chandler as vice president of sales for the US South-east and Gulf regions.
Mr Chandler brings more than three decades’ experience across the logistics industry, having held positions at ocean carriers NYK Line, Hapag-Lloyd and CMA-CGM.
Prior to joining RoadOne, he worked for Roadrunner Intermodal Services as director of sales from its Georgia office, having joined from UASC in 2016.
In addition to this, Mr Chandler has served in the US Air Force as a freight management specialist, with chief executive Ken Kellaway describing his industry experience as “deep”.
“He has been involved in every aspect of container transport, which will help to strengthen supply chain reliability and performance for our customers,” said Mr Kellaway.
