Antwerp / BE – September 11, 2017 – With the extension of the logistics facility in Geel, Kuehne + Nagel will offer an expanded service portfolio especially to customers from the FMCG and pharma & healthcare industries.
After the extension the warehouse and handling space comprises 77,000 sqm compared to 45,000 sqm when the logistics center came into operation in 2006. The new complex is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including ESFR sprinklers and a built-in emergency power supply system; goods can be stored up to 12,2 meters high. It complies with strictest security and environmental requirements, is LEED silver standard and TAPA C certified.
