Europe’s flag carriers saw a slump in cargo volumes in August. Lufthansa Cargo saw a 5.5% decline; IAG said its cargo business fell 7.8%; while Air France-KLM fared the worst, with an 8.9% decline in August. We await the European freighter operators’ numbers with interest – are they continuing to take market share or is the market in deep decline?
