Keith Baguley (above, centre) has succeeded Charles Hogg as the elected national chair of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) for a two-year period.

Mr Baguley, whose day job is UK import manager at Grimaldi-owned Atlantic Container Line, has been the trade association’s vice-chair for the past two years, and chair of BIFA’s Merseyside region since 2018.

Charles Hogg, chief commercial officer at Unsworth, becomes immediate past chair for a two-year term.

In addition, Ian Mallon (above, left), MD of Neon Freight, has been named as BIFA’s new vice-chair.

“In welcoming Keith and Ian into their new positions, I wish to express my appreciation for the contribution made by Charles Hogg over many years,” BIFA director general Steve Parker (above, right) said.

“Keith and Ian’s wide-ranging experience and senior roles in successful freight and logistics businesses will ensure that BIFA and its members will benefit greatly from their election to lead our board,” he added.
