According to the Cass Freight Index report, which measures trends in North American shipping, and is closely followed by the trucking industry, April shipments rose 5.5% year-on-year. And they reached their highest level since June 2011. Other points of note include high demand for spot market truck capacity and a solid outlook for freight. Is the end of the flat line in sight?
