Danish transport and logistics company Leman has appointed Bo Lindberg Andersen as its group chief executive, effective today.
He joins from DP World, where he spent a year and a half as strategy and transformation director, based in the UK. Prior to that he was at AP Møller Maersk, where he was head of Benelux and reefer management after it merged in Damco, where he was CEOof Benelux.
He has also headed Damco’s Nordic and Baltic operations and has been head of commercial for both Maersk Line and MSC.
“We are very pleased that Bo Lindberg Andersen has accepted the position,” said Phillipe Ziegler, Leman chairman.
“With his broad experience from senior executive positions in Europe and Asia as well as his commercial background, we are sure that Bo will help us further develop and expand the Leman group in the coming year.”
Ole Ringheim, who has been interim CEO for the past four months, will continue in his former role as a member of the board of directors.
Leman has services in more than 150 countries and employs some 800 staff in Denmark, the US, UK, China, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Greenland.
