Tigers has appointed Jana Schebera (pictured above) as the new managing director of its China operations.
Ms Schebera has spent over a decade in the freight industry and was most recently MD for Hong Kong and South China at Rhenus Logistics. Prior to that she held a variety of business development roles at M+R Spedag Group.
Tigers chief executive Andrew Jillings said: “Jana brings a sound forwarding knowledge to the China team and, having spent a few years in Shanghai, not only understands the region well, but is fluent in Mandarin.”
Ms Schebera is now based in Tigers’ Tsing Yi e-commerce fulfilment facility in Hong Kong.
“What attracted me to join Tigers was the strong focus on IT solutions and the emphasis on adding value for customers through technology, which is quite different from traditional freight forwarding and logistics,” she said.
“Furthermore, Tigers has a strong global footprint in B2C logistics, which I definitely see as the future of the industry,” she added.
