We are deeply saddened to hear that freight forwarding veteran Peder Winther (pictured below) has passed away.

Premium interviewed the seasoned executive – whose career spanned over 40 years at Mærsk, Samskip, Kuehne + Nagel, Panalpina, Ceva Logistics and more recently at Wrist Ship Supply as CEO – soon after he had joined Panalpina from Kuehne + Nagel in early 2019, and just before Panalpina (PAN) was taken over by DSV.

    Deeply saddened by this news. Peder was an exceptional leader and a true gentleman. I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with him and to have benefited from his wisdom and kindness. Rest in peace.

    Peder was definitely one of the real great gentlemen in the logistics business and in his private life. No doubt that many of us will take some time to reflect on the interactions we had with Peder over so many years and keep those great memories. He will really be missed – rest in peace, Peder.
