Instead of the intended talks in Islamabad, there is nothing… and a double blockade of Hormuz persists. The US captured a tanker, Iran seized two MSC container vessels, and the stalemate continues holding world energy markets hostage and waiting for someone to blink first.

Perhaps Inspired by Iran’s control of the strait of Hormuz, piracy in the Red Sea is seeing a renaissance while countries at other maritime chokepoints are looking into potential commercialisation strategies.
