The Manston Airport saga continues, with a pre-election UK government minister visiting, looking to shore up much-needed support. The US company RiverOak is hanging on, hoping it will be able to buy the site. But in the meantime, the airport is being dismantled – apparently the radar could soon be sold – which would be “tiresome” according to those who still believe Manston has a future as a freight hub.
