HIVE CONNECT
Hive Connect was launched in the U.K. in 2024 to bring together all the stakeholders in the supply chain – from ports to carriers, airlines, short-sea operators, container hauliers, forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and distributors. It exists to promote learning, share knowledge and to create business opportunities through networking.
It is run by Maritime Standard and created via a collaboration between James Miller and Paula Bellamy.
Maritime Standard creates and runs neutral freight networking. It builds stronger global relationships for member companies – through learning and networking – capturing business opportunities worldwide. It is active across Centrolene Network, MiPharma Global and Hive Connect.
Paula Bellamy is a consultant for the OL Group www.ol-usa.com and is responsible for managing and growing their entire international network of agents which also includes the network groups that they are part of. Paula has also opened and managed freight forwarding offices within Dubai, UAE, the Philippines and the UK. Paula also spent 10 years of her career living and working in Dubai and therefore has a good understanding of the Middle East as a whole.
