CNBC has interviewed Flexport’s CEO, Ryan Petersen, on a range of subjects: from the choices facing Apple if its products are hit by tariffs, as Trump has suggested, to the “stickiness” of falling fuel prices, and how companies such as DHL, he claims, don’t reduce surcharges in a timely manner. It’s an interesting interview – but one has to wonder how much Flexport would have had to pay for the first few minutes of apparent advertising for the ‘modern’ freight forwarder.
