The latest in the proposed takeover of TNT by FedEx came late last night when the two companies sent out a combined statement announcing that they have so far not received any objections to the deal. Wait for it, though, this statement was released as a result of growing media speculation, while the EC’s own deadline is 23 October. There’s still time for this to go south…
