A train driver in Los Angeles – a port which has significant amounts of on-dock rail – has been charged with terrorism offences after he allegedly tried to crash the train he was controlling into the US Navy’s hospital ship, Mercy, which was docked at the port, and which he suspected “had an alternate purpose related to Covid-19 or a government takeover”.
