In the waters of the Mozambican Strait, tremendous deposits of Natural Gas have been discovered and although exploration work is ongoing, it is one of the largest finds in recent years. It is estimated that up to 100Tcf of natural gas has been discovered and will no doubt position Mozambique as a major player in this sector over the next decade.
Crane Worldwide Logistics has recently established an office in Pemba, Mozambique. Major international organisations are struggling with the logistical challenges posed by the area including the limited and dilapidated road network, minimal freight services and lack of local production or building materials.
