And so it came to pass. Perhaps it was only a matter of time before US transportation secretary Elaine Chao got tainted by the shenanigans in the White House. Perhaps not, but as reported across the media over the past couple of days, and as this interesting analysis by Salon extrapolates, there is considerable evidence to suggest that Ms Chao used her position to further her own and her family’s commercial interests.
