CJ Logistics

South Korea’s CJ Logistics is laying out $216m to take a 90% stake in US-based DSC Logistics. LBR Supply Chain reports the move is intended to bolster CJ’s presence in North America. President Keun Tae Park says his ambition is for the company to become a “market leader” in US logistics. And, as part of the agreement, he will retain DSC’s chief executive, Ann Drake, to serve as chair of the advisory board and maintain a minority ownership in the company.
