First blockchain, now blocklet. Nevada-based start-up Filament is beta-testing a microchip that can communicate and complete transactions without the need for checks by multiple parties and multiple sign-offs. The blocklet chip has been designed with shipping containers in mind – although its uses are applicable to wider industrial tools, according to this report from PSFK.
