First blockchain, now blocklet. Nevada-based start-up Filament is beta-testing a microchip that can communicate and complete transactions without the need for checks by multiple parties and multiple sign-offs. The blocklet chip has been designed with shipping containers in mind – although its uses are applicable to wider industrial tools, according to this report from PSFK.

    Can this startup microchip be used in the auto and household transportation industries in order to smooth out the transactions with customers, carriers and drivers?
