German 3PL Dachser has named company veteran Vincent Touya (pictured above) as managing director of its US operations.
Based in Atlanta, he will begin his new role on 1 February, succeeding Frank Guenzerodt.
He had been with Dachser for 14 years and was in charge of transforming Dachser US “from a small country organisation into a key pillar of Dachser’s global network”, said the company.
Guido Gries, managing director of Dachser’s Air and Sea Logistics Americas business unit, who will head the company in the interim, said: “Mr Touya has been successful in expanding the air and sea freight business in France and North Africa and we look forward to his contributions in the US market.”
Mr Touya is from France and has been with family-owned Dachser for over 30 years. Previously he was head of sales for Dachser France’s overland transport arm.
