CargoForwarder has more information on Cargolux’s Chinese joint-venture airline, now to be called Henan Cargo Airlines, as a “gesture of respect and goodwill”, and to reflect the fact that the Luxembourg carrier is now only taking a 25% share in the new carrier. Cargolux will invest $55m into HCA, which plans to start operations in the fourth quarter of 2018 with three 747-400 freighters. It intends to fly transpacific routes from Zhenghzou, initially.
