American Airlines Cargo expands Asia network with new service from Los Angeles to Hong Kong

FORT WORTH, Texas – Today, American Airlines Cargo launched a daily nonstop service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Hong Kong (HKG), connecting two of the world’s largest air cargo hubs. The new direct flight from LAX will complement American’s existing Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) ? HKG route which began in 2014.

The flight will be operated on the Boeing 777-300, a fuel-efficient, cargo-friendly aircraft, which is capable of carrying over 40 LD3 containers.
