Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), the world’s largest cargo handler, has won its first-ever contract with Japan Airlines. WFS, which provides ground handling services to more than 300 airlines across its global network, has been awarded a cargo handling contract by JAL at New York’s JFK International Airport to manage twice-daily Boeing 777 and 787 services to Tokyo. WFS expects to handle more than 15m kg of cargo a year for the airline.
