As this earnings season draws to a close – with the exception of Expeditors from Seattle… still adding to the workforce while delivering on 5 May market-beating earnings – judging by Q1 26 interims, all leading asset-light freight forwarders are in belt-tightening mode.

And we ought to expect more of that in the near future.
