While it continues to restore its systems following last week’s cyber-attack, CMA CGM has announced the appointment of IBM veteran Nicolas Sekkaki (pictured above) as executive vice president IT, digital & transformation
Mr Sekkaki joined the computing giant in 1991 and, after numerous roles around the world, had been chairman of IBM France since 2015
CMA CGM said he would “accelerate the implementation of its digital and technological ambitions designed to serve its customers, its business activities and the industry’s energy transition”, and added that a team would be recruited for him.
It also announced that Padmaraja Dipankar, currently vice president of intelligent operations & innovation at Accenture, has been appointed group chief digital officer.
“His mission will be to lead digital transformation projects and foster the group’s partnerships with external companies, ranging from start-ups to major digital groups,” said CMA CGM.
