The world’s largest freight forwarding event has moved to a new venue in Hong Kong, following the postponement of the conference that was due to be staged in Bangkok in March.
Political unrest, culminating in sporadic violent incidents between government supporters and opposition protestors had prompted WCA management to take the difficult decision to postpone the conference, as the safety of all participants could not be guaranteed.
