We rather like Inchcape Shipping here at The Loadstar, what with its eye in every port – but it appears that the US Navy has taken a somewhat dimmer view. Yesterday it suspended ISS from winning any new business, as it launched an investigation into “questionable business integrity”, said to be related to overcharging. The US Navy itself hasn’t exactly been smelling of roses recently, with three officials charged with bribery conspiracy relating to a contract with Glenn Defense Marine Asia and four more suspended.
