April 30, 2015 at 5:21 pmChina base ports – US EAST COAST contract rate levels last year for mid size BCO were under $3000 per 40ft, so with BAF reductions those rates are now at $2500 per 40ft. We expect additional small reduction from that rate by Mid year to $2400 USEC AND $1500 USWC for contract rates.ONLY way for carriers to beat this is to CUT 20% Capacity which they will probably not do.
