The debate over whether Japan should join the Transpacific Partnership Trade negotiations rumbles on. This contributor to Forbes magazine suggests that progress, which would be in the interests of both the US and Japan, has been stymied by America’s car makers, who in turn have some fear of repercussions from China. Trade agreements tend to be good for the logistics industry – and this is an interesting update on the politics behind it all.
