Here’s a great idea. You’ve probably seen the TV programmes such as “The Secret Millionaire” or “The Undercover CEO”… well how about “The Secret Chief Procurement Officer”? Not as a TV programme – although that would push logistics into the general public’s living room, but as a way of getting procurement people to understand the realities of the supply chains they purportedly serve.
