Air cargo seems to have got onto the front foot in India, with the country’s civil aviation authority, the UCA, reporting that it is working on a policy to fuel the sector’s growth. In The Hindu, UCA minister Suresh Prabhu says the government is working on a policy aimed at using air cargo to bolster both the Indian economy and trade. Mr Prabhu says he hopes to unveil a draft “soon”.
