Forwarders and shippers should expect some delays in the north-eastern US, where snow storms are causing some havoc on roads and at airports. United Cargo, whose Chicago hub has seen more than 1,300 flights cancelled today, announced that it has extended restrictions at ORD until tomorrow morning, and will only accept non-perishable general cargo at ORD. Detroit, Cleveland and Boston could also be affected, said weather forecasters.
