China’s SF Airlines will be one to watch this year. China’s domestic air cargo market is set to grow by 6.7% this year, according to Boeing. Ameco, in Chengdu, has now completed five 757-200 freighter conversions, three for SF, and on Monday, SF Airlines took delivery of its first widebody freighter, a converted 767-300. The airline is set to receive another four this year. With two freighters arriving in its fleet in one day, SF became the largest cargo airline in China, with 27 owned freighters. 2016 will be the year of the emerging express carriers.
