SEGRO plc and Aviva Investors, through their joint venture, Airport Property Partnership (APP), have launched Skyline, a Grade A logistics development adjacent to Heathrow Airport.

The Skyline development will initially consist of two speculatively built warehouse units of 73,530sq ft and 80,440sq ft, both with the potential for office space across the first and second floors.

Alan Holland, Director of APP and SEGRO’s Business Unit Director for Greater London, said: “Skyline is a development in the right place at the right time. The connectivity to Heathrow, to London and to the UK’s motorway network make the location the ideal place for business and will create employment opportunities for the local area. Based on feedback from our customers and our expertise in the Heathrow market, we are confident that the new units are what companies are looking for but cannot find in today’s market.

“The Skyline development will ensure that we can offer our customers a wide range of different sized warehouses in locations which meet their needs.”

The new development will offer large, secure yard areas, with 12m eaves height, and is targeting a BREEAM ‘very good’ and EPC rating A. The units will complete in Summer 2016.
