No doubt there will be a few more of these to come – but another young logistics software company has closed its doors. Temando, an “intelligent shipping platform that helps retailers manage the fulfillment process”, and which had counted ASOS and Nike among its customers, has been closed down by owner Neopost, following losses. Neopost invested A$50m (US$33.8m) in the company four years ago, and ended up acquiring all the stock. Local competitor Shippit is hoping to “save Christmas” for Temando’s customers and staff, reports Financial Review.
