As the US sees growing exports to China, its infrastructure appears to be becoming outdated. According to a white paper from Jones Lang LaSalle, the country has an increasing need for more inland ports, helping shippers to cut back on costly trucking. But they need to have connectivity to rail and seaports, it says.
